As a Security Officer, you are the ears and eyes of DNB, but also have a representative role.
Security and hospitality
You will secure our state-of-the-art office building in the heart of Amsterdam as well as our ultra-secure cash centre in Zeist. In these two completely different worlds, you can develop further in all aspects of the security profession. You will learn how to switch effortlessly from hospitality to security and back again. DNB holds the gold stock of the Netherlands , a top-quality art collection and a very exclusive collection of rare coins. In other words, a huge treasure chest that you will help secure.

Developing as a security professional
As a general security officer at DNB, you will first learn the ins and outs of our buildings and procedures. After that, you will be trained as a security control room operator. As a control room operator you will be mainly working in Zeist, but you will also continue to do regular security work. It’s a versatile and varied job, from which you can advance to a senior position or coordinating role.

Security is a 24/7 job. Our team of experienced and new security guards is professional and committed. As a security guard, you will work day, evening and night shifts according to a regular schedule. That way, you always know where you stand well in advance. And working in alternating shifts obviously comes with a generous irregular hours allowance.

Salary
At DNB, you will receive a competitive salary, with the pay scale depending on the knowledge and experience you bring to the job.
A total gross annual income between €35,350 and €48,400 including 13th month, 8% holiday pay and freely disposable personal budget, based on a 36-hour working week.
In addition, you will receive a fixed irregular hours allowance of 19.5% on your gross basic monthly salary (excluding 13th month, 8% holiday pay and personal budget). You can take the fixed irregular hours allowance into account when applying for a mortgage, for example.
You will also receive an additional allowance for your on-call/flex week.
